April 24, 2011 Easter Weekend (Day 3)

Another great day that started with painting Easter Eggs.  To keep their shirts clean, all the kids took their tops off.  Didn't have enough painting shirts for all the kiddies.

Rachel and Danielle had rollers in overnight.  They look cute with their curls.
Leah is so serious painting her egg.
Micah did a great job.  All the kiddies love any kind of crafts.
Leah got a flower tattoo on her back.  Wonder who did that?
Danielle has the biggest eyes.  Shows her excitement.
She just decorated her waffle bowl with sprinkles and a chocolate egg.

Time for some whipping cream for the waffle bowl.
This works also.  Saves having to scoop it up.

Rachel is always up for some fun.  Definitely wants more.
And Grandma gives in.
Even the big kids want in on the action.
Here you go,  Marc.
Leah got quite the mouth full.
Even little Danielle thought it might be fun.
Sara posing with the waffle bowl.
After the treat, the kids decided to check out the lilac bush with the mazes.
Great to get rid of some energy after that nourishing snack.

It's wonderful to watch all the kids play and have fun.

Kelly-Lynn getting rid of some of the branches with the snips.
Amy taking Danielle for a ride.
ATV rides are always part of the fun.
Sara, Erin and Leah collecting acorns.

Still getting rid of some energy.

Erin & Sara.
Leah just needs a ladybug to entertain her for hours.
Ladybug on the rock.

In the afternoon, we decided to start a bonfire to get rid of the wood pile we have been collecting for 20 years.  We put a good dent in it.
The wind was cool, so we parked the cars around us for shelter .
This picture was taken in the winter.  The whole length of the overhang in the back of the shop came down from the heavy snow.  Right on top of the little trailer.
Amy is saying goodbye to the trailer that  had been their camping home for many years.  Wasn't much to look at, but was dry, had a fridge, stove and king size bed.
Kelly-Lynn finding some more wood to burn.
Leah and Jeremy.
Hard to choose between the pictures, so I post them both.
