June 6th Our 40th anniversary

June 6th was our 40th wedding anniversary. All the kids were down except Marc & Renee who were still in S. Africa making arrangements to bring home their new son Jeremy. On Saturday evening the kids took us out for a great meal at "The Gables" in Brighton.

I scoffed this picture from Amy. It's hard to take a picture of yourself, even if you are the star of the show.

Marcel and I did not want any big party, but Immy and Herman offered to serve if we wanted to have some friends over. So, two days before the big event we invited some friends and family down on that Sunday afternoon.
