April 29, 2010 A new grandson

I decided to start a new blog, but wasn't quite sure what date I should start with. But then decided to start with the date we received our most precious gift of all. Our new grandson. Jeremy Arthur Phumlani Hoogstad. End of April, Marc and Renee got the phone call that they would be able to go to S. Africa to meet and pick up their new son. Their S. African social worker emailed them the following pictures. Jeremy was born Feb. 16, 2010, and we were all soo excited to see these pictures. As I was just finishing off the tax season, Sara and Leah spent the first week with the Brink grandparents, while their mom and dad were picking up their new brother. They left May 16, 2010 and returned June 11, 2010.
