July 28-Aug 6, 2012 Sandbanks

This year we camped a little earlier in the year.  Usually August.
We were in Australia when our kids (mostly Renee) got us 5 sites.

Making a farm with all the animals. Jeremy, Kelly-Lynn and Leah.

This cutie is Jennifer's little guy Nicholas.

Jennifer, Marg, Henny and Alida with Nicholas.

Babies make the best toys.

Erin, Leah and Sara.

Behind our camp-site is a huge sand pit.
Sara is getting buried by Erin.

Erin's turn to get buried.

This picture is taken by Amy.

Jeremy giving his elephant a ride.

Super hot week.  Everyday was spent on the beach.

We spent many evenings on the beach as well.  Sunsets are awesome.

Kids are always told by their parents "don't get wet".

Oops...I got wet.

Erin, Leah, Sara and Jeremy.

Most adorable smile.

Back at our campsite.  I let the kids paint my plastic camping tables.  They loved it.
I told Marcel we should let them paint the old Lumina.

Leah spent an hour catching this Monarch butterfly.
She is so patient.  A lot of campers were watching her trying to catch one.

Michael getting ready to throw niece Erin.

Nice throw.  Quite the pose!

Braden with the shark getting ready to ride the waves.

Season and niece Erin.

Braden watching Danielle and Amy.

Sisters:  Kelly-Lynn and Erin.

Part of our family.  Seems like we have the whole lake to ourselves.

Father and daughter.  Kevin and Danielle.

Zach trying to get a ride from his dad.

That didn't work out too well.

Behind our campsite again.  Try to stay out of the poison ivy!

Each child received a canvas to paint a tree on, and then decorate the tree with buttons.
Saw this done on facebook by a friend. (Thanks Becky)

Hours of fun.

Artists at work.

Marc and Renee enjoying the camp-fire with smors.

Not Sandbanks camping without sunset pictures with our beautiful Leah.

Leah and Jeremy....still dry.

Love this picture.  Too bad it's a bit blurry.  Marc and Jeremy.

And no campfire is complete without the "pass the sentence on".  (Telephone is what Erin calls it.)

Grand-kids constantly want to take pictures with my camera.
I think Leah took this one. Good job.

Kevin and Amy's site.  They love it in the woods, especially this summer.

Zach without his training wheels on.

Braden showing Zach how to ride the bike...and Season??

Showing their art work.
Showing off their teeth, smiles and art?

Re-enactment of the,  "I want real water".  Kevin told his kids the story.
