August 10-27, 2011 Sandbanks Camping (19th-20th)

Starting off the day with a song on the beach.
Picture taken by Micah.

Amy posing for Rachel.

Kids taking turns using my camera.

 Kids haven't quite mastered photography.
Nice shirt though !

Rachel contemplating life.

Good job on this one.

Cousins:  Alanna, Erin & Rachel.
Micah chasing a seagull. Our motorhome is in the background.

I love mornings on the beach with no one else around.

Winnie stopping in for a chat.
She spent a few days camping with Erin & Carter before Alex arrived.
Our family is slowly growing.  Hoogstad, Judson & Stam families.

A crowded shelter.  Many times we put up a second shelter.

Elijah trying on goggles.  All the kids got along so well.
Lots of toys to share and play with.

Love the cool dude with the cap.

Must be a veeery deep boat!!
Danielle swings and Rachel ducks. Don't get any closer Rachel!

Too close. That didn't work out too well.  A few tears.

Maurice & MaryAnne celebrated their 28th anniversary.
They gave each other the same gift.  One seems larger than the other.  Mmm!
We really enjoyed spending time with all of you, and getting to know your grandchildren.

MaryAnne & Maurice.
Alan, Elisha, Camille & Tim.

Erin & Braden sharing a chair by the campfire.

Teresa & Doug.
Thanks for all the hard work you did chopping wood for everyone, and helping me with preparing meals.

Rachel loves going in the water and then floating back.

Cathy, the caterpillar.
This is the last campout that Cathy is with us.  First she lost her head, then the rest lost air.

Braden & Micah with their heads in the sleeve holes of the cuddlee blanket.

Three musketeers.

Roy visited us for the day.
Finally the last family arrived.
Erin & Sara played with grandpa's walkie talkie.
Not sure where they were playing, they are filthy.

Marc with nephew Micah.

Big meal together before Michael and Season go home.
Everyone makes something on their campsite and brings it to ours.

There are now 22 of us, and some had to eat sitting on lawn chairs.

  3. One of my favourite shots - Micah and Rachel - looks like an Old Navy ad!
