August 10-27, 2011 Sandbanks Camping (23rd-27th)

Cedar Sands Trail hike.
Through open dunes, cedar forests and river edges of the east Lake Bar.

Kelly-Lynn up front.  Follow the leader

Trail takes about an hour.  Stairs and boardwalks.
Approximately 2 km long. 

After our walk and lunch we headed back to the beach.
Building a farm for animals.  One side for zoo animals.

Dunes walk at West Lake.
Because the weather was a bit cooler, which nobody minded,
we were able to enjoy some activities. 

Some very steep sand dunes.  Down was easy.

For our last meal we decided on 'pie irons', assembly line style.

Next morning, we all went home at the same time.
Kevin and Amy are giving the 5th wheel a thorough cleaning, 
before returning it to John and Sonya.  

Marc said "his trailer threw up".
They decided to leave the trailer here for 'add a room' repairs.  So everything had to come out. 
We had a wonderful time with the whole family.  
So many blessings to make great memories.
