We brought a box of gebakjes (butter cream pastries) for each household. Jeremy is too young to get one, but that did not stop him from trying to get to his sister's.
Renee snuggling with all her kiddies.
Here Jeremy is teaching his dad how to wave.
"Good job Daddy" A little more practise should do it.
He is such a lekker jongetje. (translation: delicious boy) Doesn't translate too well. lol
A serious discussion with Grandpa.
Jeremy's profile.
Doesn't matter what he does, or where you put him--he smiles:)
Sara made this cell phone. The first one she made, broke. She was pretty sad, so I sat with her while she make a new one. Renee ironed it right away so it would not break again.
Last year Sara made a dove for me for the Christmas tree. Can't wait to hang it up again.
Showing Grandpa what she made.
Wrapped up and ready for bed!! He is such a curious boy. Doesn't want to miss anything. Doesn't look like he's ready for bed yet.
Grandpa showing Sara & Leah the video of Jeremy crawling. He looks like a little crab when he crawls. It's so cute and entertaining.

Shortly after Sara left for school on Monday morning, Marcel and I left to go home. But not without checking out the Van Straten bakery in Burford. A few km off the 403.
Freshly made as the picture shows. Well worth the short detour. AND 1/3 of the price we pay here locally. It will definitely be a regular detour from now on.
